Hello - Firstly - I want you to know how sorry I am for your loss...Olivia was clearly a beautiful girl and now she's no doubt one of the most beautiful angels...May God give you strength every day.

I'm a writer with Peekaboo Magazine and am doing a story/profile piece about Eugene Sargent - the artist who created Olivia's bench. Wondered if you cared to provide a quote about how you feel about the bench - what it means to you and Olivia's memory - we will be highlighting Olivia's beautiful and enduring memoriam - if you'd rather not, I'd totally understand, but in the event that you did, I really think it would be a wonderful addition to the article. Thank you so much for your consideration. Best regards, Eileen Isola

I heard about this wonderful opportunity for giving from my sister Nika. I'm so proud of my nieces and Madison and all who gave self-lessly. This is a great example of the joy of giving!

I am so touched by the generous gift of these girls. Jane, you need to see the bigger picture here. Your Olivia obviously touched these children enough that they would give up getting or bringing gifts and wanting it to be for her and in her honor.
Children are so amazing and sometimes people forget that.
I have seen so many kids in our area doing similar things for their birthday: food for animals or money for refugee children in Guatamela in lieu of gifts.

God Bless all of our children!!

As a teacher at Vandergriff, as well as a friend of Madison's family, I'm so proud to see an example of Grizzly students AGAIN taking the initiative to coordinate a project and give back to others. When we worked on the Blue Ribbon School application last year, this was a vital component of the "spirit" of our school. Thank you so much, girls! I know you'll be blessed when you see the photos and hear the stories of how your donations were used.
