#7 Ensenada, Mexico 2012
Built for:
a family with four young children. The house they lived in had a dirt floor, no windows, a roof that leaked and years of soot on the walls. They now have a new kitchen with a propane stove, new bed and bedding, kitchen table with place settings...as we were saying goodbye, the mom handed us flowers and one of her chickens. With tears I asked her to continue to care for the chicken and held the flowers close.
Thank you:
Eliott, Andrea, Emily, Jordan, Darcy, Ian and Micheal, Becca, Sadie, Hope, Hannah, Naomi, Mr. and Mrs. Willis and the best YWAM Ensenada staff there ever.
